  1. a) eTracker

With the help of the software "Analytics" and "Optimizer" (hereinafter "eTracker software") sold by eTracker GmbH, data on your visitor behavior for marketing and optimization purposes is collected and stored on the websites and transferred to pseudonymous user profiles with the help of a special cookie.

We use eTracker Analytics to analyze the use of our website and to improve it on a regular basis. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. eTracker Optimizer enables us to show you the websites in a form tailored to your personal user behavior. For this purpose, we also store special cookies on your computer that record and send your user behavior on the websites (e.g. which landing pages you call up, how you navigate on the websites and which order and registration forms you use, on which sub-pages of the website you leave them) submit to us. In this respect, profiling within the meaning of article 4 no. 4 GDPR also takes place through the use of the eTracker software.

You can revoke your consent to the collection of data about your user behavior by the eTracker software at any time free of charge and without giving reasons (see also V.7. below).

The legal basis for the use of the eTracker software is article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in processing the data collected in this way is to improve the quality and user-friendliness of the website, whereby this data is processed pseudonymized and transmitted or stored in encrypted form. The data will only be used by us and will not be transmitted to other third parties. Without your separately given consent, the data about your user behavior will not be merged with your personal data stored by us or used to identify you personally. The data collected are stored permanently and analyzed pseudonymously.

You can object to the collection of data about your user behavior by eTracker at any time and without giving reasons (see also V.6. below).

As part of our use of eTracker Analytics, the data collected using this application are also processed on our behalf by eTracker GmbH, Erste Brunnenstrasse 1, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.

Information on data protection at etracker GmbH can be found here: https://www.etracker.com/de/datenschutz.html.

  1. b) Sitecore Analytics

With the help of the software "Experience Analytics" sold by Sitecore Holding II A / S, a Danish company with limited liability, data on your visitor behavior for marketing and optimization purposes is collected and stored on the websites and converted into pseudonymous user profiles with the help of a special cookie.

We use Sitecore Experience Analytics to analyze the use of our website and to improve it on a regular basis. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For this purpose, we also store special cookies on your computer that record and send your user behavior on the websites (e.g. which landing pages you call up, how you navigate the websites and which order and registration forms you use, on which sub-pages of the websites you leave them) submit to us. In this respect, profiling within the meaning of article 4 no. 4 GDPR also takes place through the use of Sitecore Experience Analytics.

You can revoke your consent to the collection of data about your user behavior by Sitecore Experience Analytics at any time free of charge and without giving a reason (see also V.7. below).

The legal basis for the use of Sitecore Experience Analytics is article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f) GDPR.

You can object to the collection of data about your user behavior by Sitecore Experience Analytics at any time and without giving reasons (see also V.6. below).

  1. c) Google Tag Manager

If you have consented to the use of corresponding cookies, our web services may use the Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a code management platform. This service can trigger so-called website tags that allow us to draw conclusions about the use of our web services. We have configured the Google Tag Manager in such a way that personal data - in particular your IP address - is not recorded.

The Google Tag Manager continues to trigger tags from other providers, which in turn may collect data (c1-c3). However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If the IP tracking function has been deactivated, it remains in effect for all tracking tags, provided they are implemented with the Google Tag Manager. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is recorded.

We only use Google Tag Manager on the basis of your prior consent. The legal basis is therefore article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent to the collection of data about your user behavior in the context of Google Tag Manager at any time free of charge and without giving reasons (see also V.7. below).

Google observes the data protection provisions of the "EU-US Privacy Shield" framework and is registered with the "EU-US Privacy Shield" program of the US Department of Commerce (see https://www.privacyshield.gov/welcome). Further information on Google's data protection provisions can be found in particular under the following links:

c1) Aumago Remarketing

NWB works with Aumago GmbH ("Aumago"), Berlin, a target group marketer. Aumago uses so-called cookies, a text file that is stored in the computer's browser. Pseudonymous usage data is collected in the form of cookie IDs and advertising IDs.

On the basis of the user's surfing behavior (e.g. website visited, categories, product pages, content read), Aumago assumes an interest in a specific B2B industry or topics and uses this information on behalf of NWB to target targeted, usage-based online advertising to these users on the Internet. In this regard, the cookies can be synchronized with other technology platforms using what is known as cookie matching. The current list of matching partners can be found under the following Link.

The cookies are either Aumago cookies or cookies from service providers that Aumago uses, such as The ADEX GmbH or the B2B Media Group EMEA GmbH. The user can opt-out at any time and thus object to the relevant cookie tracking: ADEX Opt-out link, B2B Media Group Opt-out Link. This sets a so-called opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie assumes that a setting in the browser does not prevent the storage of cookies or delete the cookie. After deleting the opt-out cookie, the user must repeat the objection. Alternatively, the user can delete the cookies directly in the browser, set his browser settings to Do-not-track from the start or manage his cookie preferences here. If you would like to receive information about the information stored in your cookie, please send us your cookie ID.

  1. d) Google AdWords

We use the “Adwords Conversion Tracking” and “AdWords Remarketing” (hereinafter “AdWords”) services of Google LLC (hereinafter “Google”) on the websites to advertise you with the help of advertising materials that are placed on external third party websites to draw attention to our range of goods and services.

The "remarketing" function also enables us to fill the advertisements shown to you on advertising spaces on third-party websites with advertising content from our company that is tailored to your personal interests (which we determine with the remarketing function from your previous user behavior). In this respect, profiling within the meaning of article 4 no. 4 GDPR also takes place through the use of AdWords.

For the technical implementation of this process, we use so-called ad server cookies, which record and analyze certain parameters for measuring the success of our advertising campaigns (e.g. number of times the ads are displayed, clicks by users). If you get to our websites by clicking on our advertisements on third-party websites, we will also save a cookie on your computer in which further data for analysis purposes (e.g. unique cookie ID, number of "ad impressions" per placement, last Impression, as well as the consent or objection status of the user) are recorded. These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie stored on your computer has not yet expired (this usually happens within 30 days), we can see that you clicked on our ad and were forwarded to our site.

The legal basis for processing the data on your user behavior collected using AdWords is article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in this regard is to make our advertising offers more interesting and efficient for you and to achieve a fairer and more efficient calculation of our advertising costs. As part of the "remarketing" function, your data will also be processed in a pseudonymised form and will not be merged with your personal data stored by us or Google.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. The cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser and are used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. On the basis of these statistics, Adwords customers receive information about the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. Since we have been assigned an individual cookie by Google, these cannot be tracked via the websites of other Adwords customers. Therefore, we do not collect or process any personal data even when using AdWords, but only receive statistical evaluations from Google that show us how successful individual advertising measures we use are.

Insofar as the data collected by Google through the use of this tool do not have any personal reference, we have no influence on the scope and further use of the data by Google. You are therefore informing about this according to our level of knowledge: Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out your IP address and save it.

You can object to the collection of data about your user behavior by AdWords at any time and without giving reasons (see also V.6. below). You can exercise this right of objection in particular via the following options: deactivation of personalized advertising by Google by installing a corresponding browser plug-in (available here) and / or setting under google.de/settings/ads,

  • General suppression of third-party cookies by setting your browser software accordingly,
  • Deactivation of personalized advertising from participants in the self-regulation campaign “About Ads” by setting the appropriate setting at aboutads.info/choices.

As part of our use of AdWords, the data collected using this application will be processed by the following recipients:

  • Google LLC, Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (insofar this data is also transferred to the USA and processed there; the appropriate protection of your data there is guaranteed due to the certification of Google under the EU-US Privacy Shield).

Information on data protection at Google can be found here: https://ssl.gstatic.com/policies/privacy/pdf/20180525/853e41a3/google_privacy_policy_en_eu.pdf.

d1) Facebook Custom Audiences

We use the marketing service “Custom Audiences” (hereinafter “Custom Audiences”) from Facebook Ireland Ltd. (hereinafter "Facebook"), in order to draw your attention to our goods and service offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Facebook ads) that are placed on external third-party websites and to tailor these advertising materials to the personal interests that can be derived from your previous user behavior. In this respect, profiling within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR also takes place through the use of the service.

The advertising created as part of Custom Audiences is delivered by Facebook. We use cookies for this purpose, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as the insertion of advertisements or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Facebook ad, Pixel will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The analysis values for this cookie are usually the unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user is not would like to be addressed more).

These cookies enable Facebook to recognize your internet browser. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie stored on your computer has not yet expired, we and Facebook can also recognize that you clicked on the ad and were forwarded to our website. A different cookie is assigned to each pixel customer. Our cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of third-party Pixel customers. We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Facebook. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used by Custom Audiences, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Facebook server. We have no influence on the extent and further use of the data that is collected through the use of pixels and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: By integrating pixels, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or that you have accessed a Have clicked on our ad. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can assign the visit to your account.
